For the first time since I was a kid, I got to go on vacation with my mom and two brothers.  We had a great time.  Here are some highlights.

The Diva’s challenge this week, brought to us by the talented CZT Christina Vanderlist is all about working with our initials.  The challenge is to draw our first and last initials overlapping in any style we would like, then tangle them.  I started with block letters.  I was afraid I would have a hard time with this since I have one initial with all straight lines and one that’s all curves.  But they actually came together quite nicely.  In fact, I liked it so well I scanned just the letters so I could reuse them over and over again.  Here are the results.

I haven’t felt very creative for the last few days, but I had to give the Diva’s latest challenge a shot (brought to us by guest challenger Sue Jacobs).  I tied a pendant onto a ribbon and let it drop.  This is what came of it.  I’m relatively pleased.

It may not look like it, but I actually have been keeping up with the Diva’s weekly challenges.  I just haven’t had the time to get the pictures posted of them.  But I had a break this week, so I’m back in the game.  The challenge this week was to do something with Maria’s new tangle Tripoli from  I had trouble getting the hang of this one, and when I finally did, it seemed to morph into something else altogether.  This seems to be a popular pattern, but I’m not too sure about it, yet.  Anyway, here is my entry.
